About The Book
Purchase

Zippy was "discovered" by Bob Smith, "Buffalo Bob" of the long running and famous "Howdy Doody Show" while on vacation in New Orleans. Zippy stole a cherry out of Bob's drink and was rewarded with a five year contract.

I, Carole Womack, came to work with Zippy in 1955. I worked, trained and performed with Zippy for three years and then married Zippy's daddy, Lee. I was Lee's third wife. This lasted for twenty three years until I left and began training and performing with exotic birds. (This may be another book!)

The story of how I met Zippy, and all the wonderful, totally unusual and exciting stories involving Zippy have been kept a secret for far too long. Because Zippy was dressed and treated as a child, his freedom from restraint lended itself to numerous, unusal, fascinating adventures which you will thoroughly enjoy. Now the untold stories are in print! How I met Zippy and the other unusual and entertaining adventures are dispayed and accompanied by 52 photos. Place your order now!

As Ed Sullivan used to say, "We have a really big shooow and to open the shoooow, here is Zippy The TV Chimp"!

We are looking forward to writing a second book including true stories submitted by those who have had an experience with Zippy. These stories are to be positive, hopefully funny or elating. These memoirs are to be "G" rated, typed and two pages or less, and must be true!

Our third book will be about "Alfie Cockatoo and His Fun-Lovin' Macaws, our newest yet 23 year venture. It will contain wonderful stories about their stage show adventures, home life and fun. It will also include tips on training, feeding and caring for these beautiful exotic creatures. Numerous pictures and write ups will be included.
